34th International Color Art Festival

The Color Art International Festival of Fine Arts is a periodic event that has been running since 1990. Since 1997 it has been under the patronage of the Polish Committee for UNESCO. In 2024, the patrons included: UNICEF Poland, ORPEG - Center for the Development of Polish Education Abroad. Patronage of the Festival is also held by the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Olgierd Geblewicz and the Mayor of Goleniów Municipality.

The first stage is an international art competition. The contest is aimed at children and young people between the ages of 6 and 17. We accept applications from individuals, educational institutions and cultural institutions. Winners of the competition as part of the award are invited to participate in a several-day seaside workshop conducted The deadline for submitting entries is March 14, 2025.From among the submitted drawings, a jury of artists selects and awards the most interesting ones. The works awarded in the art competition are presented at a post-competition exhibition in Goleniow. The opening of the exhibition is combined with the presentation of awards and diplomas.

The main prize for the winners and their Guardians is an invitation to participate in the seaside art workshops. They take place in May in Miedzywodzie. Participants take part for several days in a series of activities that develop their creative potential. The biggest attraction for years has been the workshop, which takes place on the beach. Children working in international teams, under the guidance of instructors and with the support of caregivers, create art installations. This is always a great time for the children giving them the opportunity to integrate and make friends.
The purpose of our competition and the festival workshops that conclude it is to popularize children's art, present the works of children from all over the world, share perceptions and sensitivities, and educate through art. Each edition is based on a theme that provides an opportunity for creative expression. This year, the slogan of the competition and festival is "From the bird's eye view," and works will be judged in two categories: painting and graphic design.

We try to make our festival, in addition to its educational and animation function, socially engaged. The most interesting of the competition works are allocated for auction, the purpose of which is to help children, they are also donated to care centers, hospitals, etc. The festival works also remain on display at numerous institutions, and are presented at national and international exhibitions.
