thorns | a review of the semester's works of the mishmash studio

Thorns are a distinctive attribute manifested in culture and art. They carry a multifaceted symbolism of pain, suffering, but also protection and strength. They are a metaphor for human struggle, spiritual warfare and boundaries that protect but also hurt. They can also express difficult emotions, internal conflicts, as well as reflections on the human condition.

Young artists from the newly established Mishmash Workshop at the Stargard Cultural Center have taken up their own interpretation of the subject through various media - from painting, through drawing, sculpture, photography, computer graphics, to poetry. Some of them have already had their own exhibitions, but for many this is the first opportunity to present their work in this form. One thing is certain - you will meet many creative minds when you visit. The exhibition is curated by Piotr Hofman - computer graphic designer, designer, graduate of the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
