XVIII Open Brydż Tournament for the Cup of the Rector of the University of Szczecin

The US Rector's Cup Bridge Tournament is one of the activities undertaken by the University of Szczecin for the benefit of the residents of Szczecin and the Region. The primary goal of the Tournament is to popularize bridge among the residents of the province, including schoolchildren, students and seniors, as well as people practicing bridge socially at the amateur level. All participants are divided into two categories: professionals and amateurs. On the day of the competition, pairs are drawn using a computer algorithm (one person from each category). In order to determine the winners, 24 hands are played for maximum record, and the course of the competition and the correct calculation of the results are supervised by judges with the authorization of the Polish Association of Sports Bryzh. In addition to awarding at least 3-5 best pairs, there will be prizes for the best student, the best student, the best university employee, the best mixed (or women's) pair and the best senior.
