Located on the town’s main square, the post office building was constructed in the early 20th century on a rectangular floor plan. The two-story building has a basement and is topped with a gable roof. On the courtyard side, there is a single-story outbuilding. The structure was built of ceramic brick. The front facade has five axes, with the three central sections of the building featuring projecting risalits. The facade also includes a gateway.
The front door is wooden and ornate; inside, there is a masonry staircase with wooden balustrades leading to the basement. No other historic elements have been documented inside the building.
The building’s facade is plastered and sparsely decorated; the windows are topped with arched moldings. A wooden cornice is also visible. The building is an interesting example of simplified, modern architecture from the 1920s. The structure was added to the list of historic monuments in November 1993.
