Wojciech Chmielarz. Author's meeting

We cordially invite you to one of the most anticipated meetings of the year.On February 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm, a meeting with Wojciech Chmielarz will take place in the Zbigniew Herbert Hall, and the meeting will be hosted by our Szczecin "warrior" Maciej "Lobo" Linke.
Wojciech Chmielarz (born 1984) - crime fiction author, journalist, winner of the Great Caliber Award (2015) and the Readers' Great Caliber Award (2019), nine times nominated for this award. Author of a series of novels about commissioner Jakub Mortka: The Arsonist(2012), Farm of Dolls (2013), Takeover (2014), Estate of Dreams(2016), Shadows (2018), Long Night (2022), Gliwice series: Vampire(2015), Zombie (2017) and Werewolf (2021), the post-apocalyptic novel Queen of Hunger (2022), and the psychological thriller Zmijowisko(2018), for which he received the Golden Bullet award and the Grand Prix of the Warsaw Crime Festival. It was followed by other thrillers - Wound (2019), Wyrwa (2020), Abroad (2023) and Superfluous (2024) - and thriller novels: A Simple Matter (2020), Debt of Honor (2021) and Ordinary Decency (2023). Three of his books - The Adderall, The Rift and A Simple Matter - have been filmed. He lives with his family in Warsaw.
Leading the meeting is Maciej Linke - a Szczecinian, co-founder of the Linke Gold Team Brazilian jiu jitsu club, BJJ black belt, stand-up performer, participant in the Farma program.
