Gravel, cobblestones, slab riding and wind from the sea
Rewal Hell of the North for the fifth time
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, the Rewal Hell of the North will be held, a cycling race on gravel, cobblestones and concrete slabs with the wind from the sea blowing at the riders. This is the fifth installment of the iconic event, which grows in prestige every year and attracts new enthusiasts of murderous riding over rough roads.
Ladies and gentlemen will have 52 kilometers to cover, four rounds of 13 km each. The starters will face sections of cobblestone (3.9 km), gravel (7 km) and concrete slabs (2 km) - all in one lap. This race, although much shorter, with its characteristics resembles the famous classic on the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix. To reach the finish line, you will have to work hard. And to win, means to write golden notes in the history of the Révolutionary struggle.
Registration is underway. The list includes well-known names. And although this is an event for amateurs, the organizers invite elite, eagle and eagle racers, as well as juniors and juniors (VIP status) to participate.
The organizers are working actively to make the event a medal. There will be good prizes, a setting worthy of a great event, fans will probably not lack at the start, finish line and on the route.
Two years ago, the Rewal Hell of the North was won by Wojciech Zielinski, a cyclist from Lower Silesia. He rides time trials brilliantly, has made a name for himself many times during the cycling Thursdays at the "Poznań" motor track, and will probably want to repeat on Saturday, March 22, his success from March 2023 (a year ago he was fourth open). But he may be prevented from doing so by last year's triumpher Michal Konradowski from Dobiegniew.
Slawomir Pituch, Krzysztof Krzywy or any of the local amateur cyclists, well acquainted with the route with its potholes, holes and ruts, will also be in the running for the final success.
