Right bank of Szczecin

Michal Rembas invites you to a trip to the Right Bank of Szczecin. It will not be easy, but interesting.
On the route we will learn about:
- Anti-aircraft defense facilities from World War II located in the area of Szczecin Port Central station.
- The preserved drawbridge span of the famous railroad bridge in Podjuchy.
- The picturesque ruins of the Stern cement plant, near the canal in Zdroje.
- We will climb to the bottom of the excavation of the former chalk mine and walk through the preserved magnificent tunnel and the route of the former mine railroad.
- We will learn about a post-German shooting range on the border of Dabie and Kijewo, with massive brick structures.
- We will enter the pre-war hangars of the Dabie airport. This is an interesting monument of modernist architecture.
- We'll climb the impressive, newly renovated tower of the St. Mary's Church in Dabie, which offers a sweeping panorama of the Right Bank. Until 17 years ago, it was the tallest church tower in Szczecin.
If we have time, we will go to the Bombardier Hill in Klucze and explore the post-evangelical cemetery stretching nearby.

Time - about 9-10 hours. Price 110 zloty, youth 50 zloty.
Please bring flashlights (for the facilities at the Szczecin Port Central Station), do not forget about sturdy shoes, because the terrain can be difficult at times.
We set off regardless of the weather.
I foresee a restroom break at a gas station. There will be coffee in thermoses on the bus, please just bring cups.

The bus starts on Sunday, March 30 at 9 am from Sambora Street. It is short, the bus will be seen. The foundation 8.45.
