European Funds open day at PHILARS

European Funds Open Days is a celebration of people courageously fulfilling their dreams, organized for the twelfth time by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. The Stargard Pillars Science Center is celebrating it for the third time! Join us for a presentation of the facility on May 9. Enjoy with us the modern spaces of the restored tenement, where history, science and innovation reign in a unique symbiosis. Due to its technical condition, the tenement at 21 Bolesława Chrobrego Street in Stargard was out of use for years. In 2018 - 2021, the building was inventoried by a conservator, demolished and faithfully reconstructed. During the reconstruction, care was taken to preserve the original appearance of the facade and the form of the body of the building. The rich interior design with stucco ornamentation was restored. The door woodwork and the mosaic floor located in the entrance hall were returned to their place after restoration. Currently, the building is the seat of the Stargard Science Center FILARY. It is a place that amazes, not only the residents of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, with the richness of its popular science offer. The implementation of the project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Program of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship 2014 -2020.
