Szczecin Journalism Workshop - How to write

Do you dream of producing good texts? Do you want to speak and write in such a way that others will listen to you? Or maybe you are interested in journalism, social media, podcasts or photojournalism? If you answered "yes" at least once - these workshops are for you! What are the Szczecin Journalism Workshops? These are 8 intensive, practical meetings that teach modern communication, working with text and media. We organize them in two tracks: for schoolchildren - on Mondays at 11:00 am for adults and students - on Thursdays at 17:00 pm (except for one meeting on Wednesday 18.06) The classes will take place in the Water Factory's Education Center and will be led by experienced journalists and editors-in-chief: Jaroslaw Jaz - editor-in-chief of Głos Szczeciński and the GS24.pl Agata Maksymiuk - editor-in-chief of MM Trendy What will you learn during the workshops? Meeting 1 (2.06 / 5.06) How to write well? Basics of modern journalism, text genres, behind-the-scenes work in the editorial office + exercises: news, report, opinion, review. Meeting 2 (9.06 / 12.06) Image and sound in communication How to create a good video report, podcast or announcement of the event? Practical workshop on multimedia forms. Meeting 3 (16.06 / 18.06) Social media and fact checking Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X - how to conduct consistent and correct communication? Where to get information from and how not to let fake news? Cooperation with the GPT Chat. Meeting 4 (23.06 / 26.06) Photojournalism and editing of the final material How to frame photos, how to create a visual story? Together we will prepare a summary bulletin with the effects of the work of the groups.
