Print! Don't throw away! Mobile 3D Printing Center at Primary School No. 5 in Szczecin! The Szczecin LAB Foundation and the Technicum of Digital Technologies will visit students in grades 7-8 at Primary School No. 5 to conduct a unique workshop under the slogan: "Fix! Don't throw away! - Zero Waste with 3D Printing" 3D printing is more than a technology - it is a tool for teaching creativity, problem solving and responsible approach to objects. We want to show children that not everything needs to be thrown away - many things can be repaired, improved and even created from scratch. TTC students - under the supervision of a computer science teacher - will conduct creative and engaging classes on design and 3D printing, showing how modern technologies can serve the environment. The workshop plan: - preparation of the presentation and setting up the equipment, - designing the coin in Rhino7 software, - discussion of the printing process and launching the print, - manual work - finishing the previously prepared models: removing supports, sanding, painting and decorating, - presentation of the finished models and summary of the activities. The classes take place on the school premises and last about 4 class hours.
