Shanty concert "Mendygrałki" in Trzebież

Mendygrałki 2025 – Second edition of the musical sailing picnic in memory of Captain Andrzej Mendygrał Join us on July 26, 2025, in Trzebież. The port in Trzebież will once again resound with the sounds of shanties and sailing stories. Trzebież was the home and workplace of Captain Andrzej Mendygrał – a colorful figure of Polish sailing and an unparalleled creator of over 100 sailing songs – and will become the arena for the second edition of the "Mendygrałki" music picnic. This unique event was born out of the heart – to honor the memory of a man who devoted his entire life to the sea, sailing, and music. Captain Mendygrał was not only an experienced sailor, but also a charismatic instructor, educator of many generations of young sea dogs, and author of countless songs that still resound in taverns and ports throughout Poland. This year's edition of the picnic promises to be particularly attractive. The program includes two concerts, the first of which, aimed at younger and slightly older sailors, will start at 3:00 p.m. and last until 4:45 p.m. We invite you to musical workshops combined with a concert by the well-known and highly regarded band KLANG. This is a great opportunity not only to listen to music, but also to sing along, learn something new, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a sailing adventure. The second concert, in the evening, will feature songs performed by The Nierobbers and Łoterfolk. The organizers promise that it will be a powerful finale to an eventful day, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
