It is with great pleasure that we invite all lovers of jazz, freedom, and musical expression to Rewal, where on July 28 and 29, 2025, the sounds of the Baltic Sea will be filled with music unlike any other. The next edition of the Rewal Jazz Festival "Sea of Jazz" is just around the corner – an event that has been proving for years that jazz is alive, breathing and spreading its charm even under the open sky.
Where jazz meets the horizon
Organized by the Rewal Municipality with the support of the West Pomeranian Province, the festival has become a permanent fixture in the cultural landscape of Western Pomerania. With its spaciousness and proximity to the sea, Plac Wielorybów (Whale Square) will once again be transformed into an open stage for sounds from around the world. As every year, admission is free.
Day 1 – July 28, 6:00 p.m.
Sylwester Ostrowski "One Voice" feat. Dorrey Lin Lyles
Sylwester Ostrowski, saxophonist and producer, who treats jazz as the pulse of the city – authentic, polyphonic, democratic – opens this year's edition with his project "One Voice." He will be accompanied on stage by the charismatic Dorrey Lin Lyles – a voice you will never forget (remember "It's Raining Men"?).
The international line-up includes musicians from Poland, the USA, and Cuba: Elizabeth Martinez, Dominique Sanders, Jose Torres, Charles R. Lyles, Michał Szkil, and Owen Hart Jr. We can expect a dynamic mix of jazz, gospel, blues, salsa, and R&B – original compositions, vocal eruptions, and sounds that move you to the core.
It will be an evening that shows that jazz knows no boundaries and that playing together can be a voice of unity.
Day 2 – July 29, 6:00 p.m.
Andrzej Jagodziński Trio / Dudziak–Urbaniak–Davies
The second day is a tribute to the masters. We will start with Andrzej Jagodziński and his famous trio. The program "Bach, Chopin, Komeda, Jagodziński" will combine European classical music with jazz improvisation of the highest order. Jagodziński will be accompanied by Adam Cegielski (double bass) and Czesław "Mały" Bartkowski (drums). It will be a musical journey through the ages – from Baroque to modernism, delivered with elegance that needs no introduction.
And for the grand finale – a concert that electrifies with its line-up alone. Urszula Dudziak, Mika Urbaniak and Victor Davies – a trio that connects generations, styles and personalities. Together with Krzysztof Pacan and Tomasz Torres, they will serve up a set full of groove, swing and stage fire: Dudziak's hits, original songs by Mika and Victor, as well as new versions of classics – from Jackson to The Beatles.
