The palace was built in the 17th century. It was founded by the renowned von Borck family. The three-story building has a “C”-shaped floor plan. In the 17th century, a new wing was added to the palace. In front of the building’s facade lies a stately courtyard, flanked on both sides by the palace’s wings. A landscaped park stretches directly adjacent to the palace. Its edges reach the shore of the lake. The park is home to a valuable stand of old trees, including beech trees with circumferences of 450 cm and magnificent ash trees. The park also contains the burial sites of the von Borck family.
