The most valuable treasures of the Pomeranian Library in Szczecin

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition: Precious, most precious... treasures of the Pomeranian Library in Szczecin, which will take place in the Hall under the Pyramid on October 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The exhibits presented at the exhibition are a selection of the most valuable items from the special collections of the Pomeranian Library. They were selected not only for their material value and craftsmanship, but also for their significance for scientific research, especially in the context of Pomeranian studies. The objects include unique manuscripts and works of art, as well as rare old prints, music, cartography, and documents of social life. The collected artifacts come from various periods – from the 13th to the 20th century – and some of them were created outside Europe. The whole collection has been divided into nine thematic groups that reflect various fields and aspects of social life: family, school, knowledge, religion, power, history, the world, culture, and art.
