The Uckermark cycle route is 260 km long and runs through the Uckermark Lake District Nature Park, the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, and the Lower Oder Valley National Park. It is an ideal destination for true nature lovers. The southern section of the route (Lychen–Templin–Angermünde–Schwedt) is better developed – for the most part, it is a separate, asphalt, car-free cycle path. On the other sections, the route runs along national roads, cobblestone roads, or short sections of dirt and forest roads (largely dependent on weather conditions). The Uckermark Cycle Route is an easy 260 km loop.
Cross connection (30 km): From Potzlow, it is possible to use a cross connection leading directly to Templin (30 km). To do so, follow the signs in the village to Fergitz in the direction of Suckow. At the entrance to Suckow, turn right towards Gerswalde. In the village, continue left through Berkenlatten – Friedenfelde – Groß Kölpin – Milmersdorf – Ahrensdorf straight to Templin.
The southern part of the Uckermark Cycle Route (Lychen–Templin–Angermünde–Schwedt/Oder) is well developed and largely free of traffic.
