The Crane Cycle Route runs partly without car traffic along the Odra–Nysa trail, through the Lower Odra Valley National Park – the only national park in Germany covering floodplains, which is also a resting place for cranes. The observation towers and slopes above the Oder River along the route offer ideal conditions for bird watching and allow you to admire the vast panoramas of the national park region.

Type of traffic:

To Staffelde – a little-used road,
cycle path along the road to Mescherin,
car-free bike path to Gatow,
moderately frequented road to Schönfeld,
cycle path along the road to Tantow.
