Forensics in the age of AI

On December 9, 2025, as part of the cooperation between the Department of Genomics and Forensic Genetics of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin and the Office for Innovation, Science and Smart Specialization of the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Province, the first edition of a conference dedicated to employees of judicial authorities will be held. The event will be devoted to modern methods and tools used in investigative and forensic work, with particular emphasis on the development of artificial intelligence, new technologies, and the enormous opportunities they offer for forensic science and the justice system. The conference program, developed on the basis of the experience and knowledge of experts from the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, includes lectures by experts and practical workshops. The aim of the event is to systematize and deepen the knowledge of participants, as well as to inspire them to use the potential of the latest scientific achievements in investigative and judicial practice. Venue: auditorium at the headquarters of the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Province, ul. Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego 40, Szczecin.
