Blumberger Mühle is a multimedia experience center in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. It is an absolute must-see for all city dwellers, young and old. The information center is designed to resemble a hollow tree trunk – a symbol of the cycle of matter in nature. Outside, paths lead through a landscape of ponds, meadows, and reed beds. From well-camouflaged observation towers, you can watch birds such as ospreys and cranes.
A large playground with a water spring and a maze is a particularly exciting attraction for children. The NABU Blumberger Mühle Nature Center is MLUK-certified in ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), which means it can also be booked by schools and groups. Events await visitors throughout the year: family days, theme weeks, lectures, guided tours, and much more.
The Blumberger Mühle restaurant serves dishes made from regional and organic products. Tip: Ranger tours of the Grumsin World Heritage Site are also available – prices and dates on request.
The "Nature for the Ears" audio guide allows you to immerse yourself in the diverse ecosystems of the UNESCO Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. You can download it to your own mobile device or borrow it on site at the reception. The audio guide is available in German, English, and Polish.
NABU members and residents of Angermünde have free admission. Guests who want to visit Blumberger Mühle several times a year can purchase annual passes.
The shop offers something for all nature lovers, young and old, from souvenirs to gardening and pet supplies. Goods are shipped in a climate-neutral manner via DHL GoGreen.
The facility is a partner of the "Natürlich Uckermark – Ferien fürs Klima" network, which brings together particularly eco-friendly and sustainable hosts.
