Municipal Sports and Recreation Center at Modra

Municipal Sports and Recreation Center at Modra is in the Bezrzecze estate, on the western edge of the city. Access by public transport is provided by bus lines 74 and 105 (Wronia stop). By car, the easiest way to get to the city center is to go straight along Krzywoustego, 26 Kwietnia, Taczaka, Sosabowskiego and Szeroka streets to the end, then turn left into Modra, where the facility is. It should be remembered that it is not visible from the street, to get to it you must turn right into the private estate at the Wronia stop. The facility is located behind buildings, there is a car park next to it, which is used mainly by residents of nearby houses.

The sports facility, used primarily by the residents of the Bezrzecze housing estate, was built in stages over several years. It consists of a football pitch, a multi-purpose pitch and a playground for children. A 46 x 23 m football field with an artificial surface, 20 mm high synthetic grass, covered with quartz sand. Along the pitch there is a row of benches and behind the goals there are ball nets. The adjacent multi-purpose court has designated basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts. The pitch has a synthetic polyurethane surface, the thickness of which is 13 mm, as well as a drain and linear drainage. The dimensions of the pitch are 19.1 x 32.1 m. Next to it there is a fenced, sand-covered playground for children equipped with a tower, a slide with a swing, a hut with a swing, a tower with a high slide with waves, two beams, a sandbox, and a rocking horse on a spring. Both sports fields on the premises have artificial lighting.
