Deputy Marshal Jakub Kowalik invites you to another meeting in Koszalin as part of the series: "How to prepare for cycling trips."
The guests of the event will be Sławomir and Szymon Nakoneczni – father and son, who share a passion for cycling trips – both short weekend trips and long, multi-day trips. For several years, they have been discovering the world from the perspective of a bicycle saddle, showing that cycling trips with children are possible, valuable, and full of adventure.
Their first really long trip took place when Szymon was 13 years old – it was a route around Bornholm and along the coasts of Sweden, Denmark, and Germany, covering almost 1,000 km. This year, the duo took on another challenge, traveling by bike through exceptionally rainy Norway. Along the way, there were also numerous local and weekend trips, which became the foundation for bigger adventures.
During the meeting entitled "A little further than around the house. Cycling trips with children," they will talk about cycling trips from two perspectives – that of a parent and that of a child.
They will discuss topics such as:
• preparing for family trips – from short getaways to longer routes,
• logistics and organization of traveling with a child,
• adventures, surprises, mistakes, and problems encountered along the way,
• building independence and a passion for exercise in younger cyclists,
• the path from tourist trips with dad to MTB XC races.
This meeting will show that a bike can be a tool for spending time together, exploring the world, and building relationships – and that family trips do not have to end "around the house."
We cordially invite parents, children, cycling enthusiasts, and anyone looking for inspiration to actively explore the world together.????
