Tulia is a band consisting of Tulia Biczak, Patrycja Nowicka, and Dominika Siepka. Thanks to their high-profile covers of Depeche Mode and Dawid Podsiadło, the band came to the attention of a wide audience, and then, by releasing their own music, confirmed that folk is popular in Poland. With their original approach to the genre, the group is also able to attract a commercial audience. The artists combine the white singing characteristic of folk music with state-of-the-art music production in their music. In 2018, Tulia won the "Premier" competition at the 55th National Polish Song Festival in Opole, and a year later received the "Fryderyk" award from the Phonographic Academy for the phonographic debut of the year and represented Poland in the 64th Eurovision Song Contest.
In 2021, Tulia returned with a new album, Półmrok. It is a fully original album presenting a sound expanded with electronics and rock elements. The songs on the album conceptually illustrate the story of a relationship between two people—they tell of worry, sadness, regret, despair, anger, loneliness, but also joy, hope, and strength. The album is promoted by the songs "Rzeka" (River), "Burza" (Storm), "Marcowy" (March), "Przepięknie" (Beautifully), and "Narkotyk" (Drug)..
