No traveling with panniers, with permanent accommodation in Hajnówka and a trip to Białowieża or Narewka, so that after unloading the bikes, we can freely ride around for easier sightseeing. Four days of exploring the Białowieża Forest. Daily routes of 25 to 40 km through the most interesting places. Two 40-kilometer trips to Dęby Królewskie and Topiło, and two shorter ones around Białowieża and south of Narewka. Four days in close contact with the wild nature of the forest. Various information boards allow you to learn about the history of the Białowieża Forest, its rich nature, economy, environmental protection, and the multicultural richness of the inhabitants of Podlasie. For centuries, the forest remained a hunting ground for Polish kings and their guests. Each of the kings and rulers was assigned one large oak tree, and the Royal Oaks trail was prepared. The Białowieża Forest region was home to a mix of nationalities, including Poles, Lithuanians, Belarusians, Tatars, and Russians, as well as a mix of cultures and religions. Traces of this are still visible today at every turn. The Białowieża Forest is an area that is definitely worth spending at least a few days exploring. I invite you to a meeting on February 11.
