"Green Flight" is a story about a place that lives in symbiosis with nature. The central figure of the mural is an abstract heron—the symbol of Czaplinek—hovering above the water, as if it had just taken off from the surface of the lake. Its spreading wings and feathers are not just fragments of a bird's body—they are a landscape inscribed in the bird motif: forests, waters, traditional roofs, boats, and sailboats. The project is being created in the heart of the town – in a place where for years there was a mural with a map of the municipality, the lake and its surroundings. "Green Flight" does not cut itself off from the past, but engages in a visual dialogue with it. The motif of the heron and water – reinterpreted – becomes a bridge between what was and what may come. The mural brings a freshness of form, referring to familiar symbols and transforming them in a modern and poetic way.
The project corresponds with the space of Czaplinek – a town immersed in the waters and greenery of Western Pomerania. The project is being created in the heart of the town – in a place where for years there was a mural with a map of the municipality, the lake and its surroundings. "Zielony Lot" does not cut itself off from the past, but engages in a visual dialogue with it, referring to tradition and local symbols in a creative way. The mural combines local identity with a strong ecological message. "Zielony Lot" symbolizes the need to break away from indifference towards nature and, at the same time, return to harmony with it. The heron emerging from the lake is an image of rebirth and the power of nature, but also of the delicacy of the ecosystem, which must be constantly protected. Through its form and symbolism, the painting encourages reflection on the place where we live, prompting discussion about what we leave behind in the landscape—and whether it is a trace of life or a trace of destruction.
