We invite you to the opening of the exhibition VISITS - Edward Siekierzyński / RETURNS - Adam Siekierzyński on Thursday, March 5, at 6:00 p.m.
The series of paintings under the common title "VISITS" is the last cycle of works created by Edward Siekierzyński in 2010-2021. The main theme of the works is visits by strangers from other worlds—mysterious encounters, suspended between the real and the imagined, ambiguous, leaving more questions than answers. The inspiration came from the observation of a UFO phenomenon on March 20, 1997, which, as we read in the album "VISITS. Words and Images" – "introduced new areas of fantasy, a new penetration of the Cosmos with thought." It is a pictorial story of curiosity, anxiety, and fascination with the unknown – an invitation to cross the boundaries of everyday life and look towards infinity.
Selected works by Adam Siekierzyński from 2020–2025 are digital paintings in which paint pigments have been replaced by pixels. The artist continues his dialogue with the vision of the cosmos, transferring it into the space of new technologies. His paintings combine traditional painterly sensitivity with digital precision, creating a contemporary interpretation of the theme of encountering the unknown in a space defined by his own inventiveness.
