The publication explores key issues of one of the most important conflicts of antiquity—the Second Punic War—analyzing its course, strategies, and military and historical significance.
Maciej Maciejowski (born 1972) – historian, Doctor of Humanities. Columnist for the bimonthly magazine W Sieci Historii. Co-creator of the concept for the permanent exhibition at the National Museum in Szczecin – Center for Dialogue: Upheavals in 2012–2015. Author of books and numerous scientific and popular science articles and reviews. His publications include: German Crimes in Western Pomerania and Lubusz Land in the Light of Investigations Conducted by the Branch Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation in Szczecin (2013) and Perpetrators of the (anti-)Polish operation 1937–1938. Sketches and biographies (2021). In 2006–2019, he worked for the Szczecin Branch of the Institute of National Remembrance. Since 2019, he has been a history teacher at the Catholic High School in Szczecin.
