470 days. That's how long it took me to travel around the world. 61 days longer than last time. Probably because this time I was with my wife. She's always late and clumsy. (I'll have to mention that somehow.) There are many things I need to mention. There may not be much about the trip. That's okay. I've written two books about it. 70 minutes of monologue + support acts - I think that's enough. This will be my first solo show in years. I feel that people have high expectations: my current monologues have tens of millions of views on YouTube, I've done the biggest interviews in the country, and I've been doing stand-up for over a dozen years. All that's left is to keep my fingers crossed that nothing will change. (Where did the saying "keep your fingers crossed" come from? I'll check later*). One thing is certain, this evening will be a real comedy journey. An adventure. A vagabond.
You're invited, Piotrek Szumowski

*Keeping your fingers crossed for someone or for something is a wish for good luck. This gesture probably has ancient origins. The thumb was important for a warrior, as without it he could not wield his weapon effectively. Keeping your fingers crossed was therefore a protective gesture.
