The rectory in Trzebież is located across from the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. It stands on a small hill on land belonging to the parish. Nearby are Trzebież Park, the fishing port, and the Central Sailing Center. Situated in an interesting area, the building was constructed in the early 19th century as a parsonage for the pastor who lived there at the time. The building was constructed using half-timbered framing and features a gable roof, with a bay window on the street-facing side. The rectory is entered through the main door from the street, accessed by a double flight of stairs, while from the courtyard, the building is entered via a porch. The restored building is one of Trzebieża’s most valuable architectural landmarks. Currently, the rectory serves as the parish priest’s residence and parish office, and as a gathering place for parishioners on the occasion of various holidays, social, and cultural events. Adjacent to the building is a sizable rectory garden, where parish picnics and other gatherings are held. The entire area is fenced. The building is accessible from the outside. It is best to contact the parish office by phone in advance before visiting.
