The TEEN Repair Café aims to encourage young people to adopt eco-friendly habits, such as repairing items instead of throwing them away, creating art from household waste, repurposing waste for other activities, expanding their environmental knowledge, and sorting difficult-to-recycle waste.
The event plan calls for setting up 10 stations, each marked with a number and title and staffed by station supervisors selected from among the students of Class 8A.
Visiting students must:
- approach each numbered station
- answer a question or complete a task
- collect a stamp.
Those who collect at least 6 stamps are allowed to enter and jump on the inflatable washing machine.
Proposed stations – we will choose something together with the students:
1. Exhibition of vintage appliances, including a Frania washing machine with a mangling option (2 tables)
2. Task board titled “Water is leaking—what should I do?” (2 tables)
3. Test it out! – station for testing remote controls or batteries – (1 table)
