It Was the Hand… of the Devil!” is a moving and internationally acclaimed film by Taiwanese director Shih-Ching Tsou—her feature-length debut, created in collaboration with Oscar winner Sean Baker. The film premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the prestigious Gan Foundation Award, and was later screened and honored at international festivals (including a win at the Rome Film Festival) and was nominated for an Oscar as Taiwan’s representative.
