Koszalin – Kołobrzeg – Białogard – Koszalin

This 140-kilometer route is an ideal choice for a one-, two-, or three-day cycling trip. It combines the most beautiful sections of the seaside Velo Baltica trail with the atmospheric, inland Old Railway Route.

Stage 1: Seaside Adventure (Koszalin – Kołobrzeg, approx. 55 km)

The journey begins in Koszalin, heading towards the coast via route 15A. After a few kilometers, we reach Mielno, where the path joins the coastal Velo Baltica (EV 10 & 13). Passing the famous walrus sculpture, we head west through quieter seaside resorts: Mielenko, Chłopy (with its traditional fishing harbor), and Sarbinowo, which features a picturesque promenade.

In Gąski, climbing one of the tallest lighthouses in Poland is a must. The natural highlight of this stage is the Ekopark Wschodni (Eastern Ecopark) – cycling along the embankment between the Baltic Sea and vast peat bogs teeming with waterfowl is one of the most beautiful moments of the trip. The stage ends in Kołobrzeg, passing the vibrant Marina Solna and the port.

Stage 2: Following the Old Tracks (Kołobrzeg – Koszalin, approx. 85 km)

In Kołobrzeg, we turn inland onto the Old Railway Route (No. 15). The trail follows the embankments of a former narrow-gauge railway line, ensuring gentle gradients. We pass through Gościno and Karlino, cycling through agricultural landscapes and past wind farms. Along the way, we cross the Parsęta and Radew rivers (in Karlino, it is worth seeing the Cukin mural and the Firefighters' Fountain).

Upon reaching Białogard, we arrive at the historic Liberty Square (Plac Wolności), surrounded by heritage townhouses – a perfect spot for a restorative meal. Before the final stretch, the route leads to the Amber Palace in Strzekęcino. This extraordinary site features a palace park where peacocks roam freely among the guests. We close the loop in Koszalin, entering the city through its "green lungs" – the Dukes of Pomerania Park.
