It is a story of identity and memory, woven into the portraits of those who are both witnesses to and co-creators of the local heritage. Each photograph and every artistic record is an interweaving of personal destinies with the history of a city that is constantly transforming. The participation of Bernadeta Wdzięczna—the founder of ArtFestival, who has been building bridges between cultures and generations for years—will underscore the significance of this year’s anniversary event. ᴘʀᴏꜰ. ᴅʀ ʜᴀʙ. ᴘɪᴏᴛʀ ᴍᴀꜱᴛᴀʟᴇʀᴢ | In her highly individualistic expression, the artist uses elements familiar to us all, yet she does so in an absolutely unique way. At the center of her interest is the human figure, primarily in portraiture and figurative form, coexisting with the material of the canvas, which serves as a pretext for incredibly interesting aesthetic solutions. Here, two elements converge: a skillful drawing from the tradition of painting and a creative utilization of its undeniable value to emphasize conceptual premises deeply rooted in the artist’s moral criteria.
