A Meeting with Marta Wlaźlińska: "Sculpting Myself"

The Municipal and County Public Library in Goleniów, in collaboration with Health Tracker Anetta Wnuk, invites you to a meeting with artist Marta Wlaźlińska, which will take place on June 9 at 5:00 p.m. at the library. Marta Wlaźlińska will talk about her artistic journey, her work with clay and fire, and how art became a way for her to find her own voice and undergo an inner transformation. This will be a conversation about creativity, female strength, and living in harmony with oneself. About finding one’s own path, the courage to change, and pursuing what truly brings a sense of fulfillment. The artist was born in Szczecin. From a very young age, she painted, drew, and wrote. She graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Szczecin and later studied journalism at the Faculty of Polish Philology at the University of Szczecin. In 2007, she moved to Goleniów, where she and her husband opened a ceramics studio. It was sculpture that proved to be the medium in which she found the greatest satisfaction and sense of fulfillment. For over 15 years, she has been leading ceramics workshops, organizing outdoor sculpture workshops, and consistently pursuing her own creative path. She has participated in the Szczecin group exhibitions “Me in the City, the City in Me,” “History of Women,” and “Human=Nature.” In 2024, during her solo exhibition “Through Fire,” she presented sculptures created using the raku technique.
