Organizer (name of institution or first and last name): Gmina Karlino
For many years, Karlino has been consistently building its identity around initiatives that bring people together and encourage collective action. Sporting and cultural events play a special role here, serving as venues for meetings, competition, and integration among residents and visitors. Among them, the St. John Paul II Papal Run holds a special place—an event with a long-standing tradition that brings together sports enthusiasts and those who love to celebrate together.
This year’s 32nd edition of the Papal Run will take place on June 14, 2026. This is a unique 15-km sporting event—its route begins at the Statue of Our Lady Queen of the World in Domacyno (start at 11:15 a.m.) and ends at the municipal stadium in Karlino, attracting both professional runners and amateurs. At the finish line, participants will be greeted by a unique atmosphere of support and friendly competition, as well as a medal featuring the image of Saint John Paul II for everyone who completes the race. In addition to the main race, there will also be fun runs for children, teenagers, and seniors.
The event will also be accompanied by a family festival—participants and guests can look forward to inflatable attractions, numerous activities for children, and a food court where everyone will find something delicious to eat. It’s a perfect opportunity to spend time in a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere and celebrate this special day together.
The Papal Run is not only a sporting challenge but also an opportunity for socializing and promoting a healthy lifestyle in the spirit of fair play. Every year, the event attracts a large number of participants, and the positive feedback from runners and guests motivates us to continue developing this event. We cordially invite you to join us!
