The “Family Safety and Emergency Response Education Festival in Siedlice” project involves organizing an open educational and community-building event aimed at residents of Siedlice and the surrounding area. The initiative is specifically targeted at children, youth, families, and seniors. The project’s goal is to enhance residents’ skills in safety, responding to emergencies, and building local cooperation to promote community safety. The project also aims to bring residents together and foster attitudes of responsibility and cooperation in situations requiring mutual assistance. The central element of the project will be a festival scheduled for June 13, 2026. During the event, first aid demonstrations will be held, along with a presentation of rescue equipment by the Volunteer Fire Department and educational activities on safe behavior in emergency situations such as fires, accidents, or other unforeseen events. The event will be intergenerational in nature. An educational zone will be set up for children and youth, promoting responsible behavior in emergency situations and the importance of cooperation and mutual aid within the local community. Local youth will be involved in preparing the event and in organizational activities. Local partners—the Siedlice village council and the Rural Housewives’ Association—will be involved in the project’s implementation, supporting the event’s organizational and promotional activities. The festival will also be an opportunity to present to residents the history of the Volunteer Fire Department in Siedlice, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
