A black comedy with elements of Scandinavian horror. Characters drawn from the universe of the iconic Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen meet after their father’s death. These are classic figures of family drama: mother, daughter, son, wife, husband. The starting point for the performance is not the author’s specific plays, but what remains after them: emotional patterns, the language of trauma—inherited both at home and in the theater. Together, we will trace the hidden secrets wrapped in woolen Norwegian sweaters. The ones that bite the hardest.
Reviews by the Artistic Committee
A hypnotic tale suspended between tenderness and icy detachment. The domestic atmosphere has the roughness of a Norwegian sweater, beneath which everyday horror pulses. Ibsenian figures emerge from the rhythm of the stage play—human-animal hybrids that explore the darkness of the human soul. This is one of those productions where the dense atmosphere acts like a magnetic trap.
