The Two Lakes Festival has always been all about shanty music!

Come and listen to the sounds that tell tales of distant voyages and maritime adventures. To the sounds of shanties, surrounded by nature, you’ll experience the true atmosphere of seafaring life. The sailing show for children, “What’s on the Water? What’s Under the Water?” is an unforgettable journey across the seas and oceans with Poznań’s Grupa Trzymająca Ster. During our time together, we’ll discover the world of sea voyages. We’ll learn what a sailor’s job entails and who’s who on the ship. We’ll sail around the world, face challenges during the voyage, and meet pirates! All this set to wonderful music, group singing, and lots of fun. You can’t miss it! Come join us!!

Born during the 2020 lockdown, hardened by online storms. From a random crew, they became a full-fledged pirate gang, playing pirate folk! Led by a tough female captain, they take on even the biggest shanty stages! They play their own songs, sharp as a razor and wild as the sea! They take no prisoners, but they drag everyone into a whirlwind of unbridled fun! ARRR!

ŁoterFolk is a four-piece band formed by experienced instrumentalists associated with groups such as Perły i Łotry, Atlantyda, and Klang.
The band consists of:

Wojciech Harmansa “Muzyk” – accordion
Adam Saczka – keyboards
Przemysław Burek – guitar
Krystian Sidor – bass guitar / double bass
ŁoterFolk’s repertoire includes, among others, songs known from the work of Perła i Łotra, including those from the album “Prawdziwe Perły – Na wygnaniu,” enriched with original arrangements and an expanded instrumental lineup. The band draws on sea shanties and Irish folk music, combining them with a dynamic sound and concert energy.
