LOVE IS LOVE tour Michał Szpak returns from a very long and dark journey into his inner self, opening an entirely new chapter in his musical career. You’ll have the chance to experience his new stage persona live in Wałcz. During this exceptional evening, Michał will introduce us to his artistic alter ego, JOWISZJA: a musical priestess, an artist’s mask, and a spiritual medium. JOWISZJA is a theatrical excess and a veil for extraordinary sensitivity. Visually, the tour is a performative kaleidoscope; Michał, possessed by Jowiszja on stage, gives literally EVERYTHING he has, while the message is one: LOVE IS LOVE. An outstanding stage personality with an intriguing voice, possessing an unprecedented timbre and range. In his performances, Michał is charismatic, creative, bold, and uncompromising. He likes to play with his own image, has a very distinctive style, and loves to break conventions. His attitude as an artist is always one of freedom, and his message is affirmative. Thanks to this, his irresistibly positive energy bridges generations and unites very different fan communities. Michał is known for his colorful performances, witty comebacks, and bold stage persona. He began his career by participating in the first season of X Factor, where he placed second and immediately captured the attention of a wide audience. He also made a name for himself as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, where he showcased another facet of his artistic personality. In 2016, Michał represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, where he sensationally took third place in the public vote with the song “Color Of Your Life.” In the overall standings, he placed a high eighth. Michał was the first Polish singer to make it onto the Spotify Viral 50—the Billboard Spotify Top 50 in the U.S.—with the song “Color Of Your Life.” He has numerous awards and distinctions to his credit. During the 52nd National Polish Song Festival in Opole in 2015, he won the SuperPremiere award for the song “Jesteś Bohaterem.” A year later, he achieved further spectacular successes—he received the SuperJedynka award in the SuperArtist category, as well as the Audience Grand Prix at the Złote Opole Competition for the same song. In 2022, he performed at the Top of the Top Sopot Festival, where he was awarded the prestigious Amber Nightingale.
