Parish Church of St. Stanisława Kostki is in the center of Szczecin, near the Stefan Żeromski Park. About 200 meters from the church there is a bus stop for lines 53 and 67.
The church was built in 1888-1890. It is a building in the neo-Gothic style, built of brick. During World War II, the church was destroyed in 70%, and the entire equipment of the temple was also destroyed. In 1976, the reconstruction of the church began, the end of works did not come until 2000, when the top in the form of a copper helmet was mounted on the tower. Inside, it is worth paying attention to the stained-glass windows depicting evangelical events and facts from history, incl. the third pilgrimage of the Holy Father to his homeland. The medallions in the stained-glass windows depict the patron saint of St. Stanisław Kostka, Mother Teresa of Calcutta and the Primate of the Millennium - Fr. Card. Stefan Wyszyński. The main bronze altar is a procession of Polish saints and blessed to the Eucharistic Jesus (tabernacle). Figures of the Evangelists can be seen in the pulpits. On the main door to the temple there are scenes from the Decalogue, on the southern door, from the park side, scenes with the image of the seven holy sacraments, on the northern door there are the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
