They want to sing in a way that the world will hear and understand them. In secret from their strict Mother Superior, they form a band and turn to the greatest hits that have been touching the hearts of people around the world for years. Will they manage to convince the Reverend Mother that the messages in songs by The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, or U2 can uplift the human spirit just as much as Latin choral music? Can the repertoire of Budka Suflera, Zakopower, or Madonna speak to divine and human matters just as well as the hymns from the convent’s songbook?
