Echoes of Portugal - a concert by João de Sousa & the Dissonance String Quartet

July 18, 2026 | 7:00 p.m. Krajnik Dolny, the square by the Border Bridge Portuguese fado, original compositions, and a summery atmosphere will come together this time in Krajnik Dolny. João de Sousa, an artist originally from Portugal who has been living and creating in Poland for years, together with the Dissonance String Quartet, will invite the audience into a world of subtle emotions, melancholic melodies, and sounds inspired by Portuguese music. The concert program will feature both João de Sousa’s original compositions and songs rooted in the fado tradition, including “Estranha forma de vida,” “Cantiga de amigo,” “Longe,” and “Madrugada.” We invite you to a world of atmospheric melodies, a summery atmosphere, and music that naturally brings together different cultures, languages, and emotions.
