And there are those you create together. For several years now, the Two Lakes Pirate Parade has been one of the latter. We invite residents, festival guests, entire families, groups of friends, and everyone who wants to kick off the 10th anniversary of the Two Lakes Festival in a truly spectacular way. This year, the promenade along Lake Raduń will be taken over by pirates—young and old, with hats, eye patches, parrots on their shoulders, and plenty of positive energy. Don’t have a pirate outfit yet? No problem! Before the parade, from 4:00–5:00 p.m., join us at the #Kulturastyka Zone at WCK for the “Captain’s Hat” workshop with Kasia Aftyka. You’ll be able to use your handmade hats and pirate accessories right away during the parade. The parade will set off from the First Settlers’ Square on Miła Street and proceed along the promenade all the way to the main stage, where the official opening of the 10th Two Lakes Festival will take place. Artists, organizers, and city representatives will march alongside residents, creating a colorful procession that has been one of the festival’s most iconic moments for years. Put on your pirate hat, bring your family, and join the crew. Let this anniversary parade serve as a symbol that, for ten editions now, the Two Lakes Festival has been created first and foremost by people.
