How can families spend time together during the 10th Two Lakes Festival? Come join us at the First Settlers’ Square on Miła Street. This is where we’ve set up the #KULTURASTYKA Zone and prepared a program that encourages everyone—kids, parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles—to get involved together... We’re offering activities here that are most fun when you create them together! On Friday and Saturday, you’ll be able to make pirate accessories, design your own festival T-shirt, and the youngest kids, along with their parents, will discover that many a pirate adventure begins with a book. Friday | July 10 4:00–5:00 p.m. | Captain’s Hat with Kasia Aftyka The Two Lakes Pirate Parade looks its best when it’s created by the residents themselves. That’s why, before the parade, we invite children, teens, and adults to a family workshop with Kasia Aftyka, where we’ll make pirate hats, eye patches, and other colorful accessories. All it takes is a little imagination to join the pirate crew and march with us in the parade. 6:00 p.m. | DIY Festival T-Shirts Instead of a pre-printed design—your own idea. We’ll provide festival stencils, and you’ll choose the colors and apply the designs to the T-shirts yourselves using rollers and professional fabric paints. We’ll help you every step of the way, and the paints we use are long-lasting, so the designs won’t fade after a few washes. Each T-shirt will be one of a kind. Saturday | July 11 Start your family day at 12:00 PM with the Hatman Show—an illusion show that entertains both children and adults. Right after the show, just walk a few steps to the First Settlers’ Square, where more attractions await. 1:00 p.m. | Course for Adventure: Swords and Jewels In the Book Zone of the Wałcz Municipal Public Library, librarians Kamila and Monika will invite children into the world of pirate tales. Inspired by stories of sea voyages, we’ll work together to make safe pirate sabers and sparkling bracelets—essential gear for every sea dog. 2:00 p.m. | DIY Festival T-Shirts If you didn’t make it the day before or would like to create another design, here’s your second chance. We’ll once again provide stencils, rollers, and fabric paints, and you’ll design your own festival T-shirt. Throughout the Festival, the Kids’ Zone will also be open right next door, so the little ones will find even more ideas for fun there. You don’t have to be an artist to create.
