The “Sokole Lato: Camp Re-Action Karlino” project is an innovative sports and educational day camp for 30 children aged 7–14, held at the Homanit Arena facilities in Karlino. It’s a five-day, high-energy summer camp—five hours a day—combining sports, environmental education, learning, and intergenerational integration.
Every day features a 1.5-hour soccer training session with professional coaches from MKS Sokół, designed to develop fitness, coordination, speed, and technique. Additionally, each day has a unique theme and activities:
#KickOffMonday – kicking off with fair play, team building, forming teams, sports games, fostering team spirit, and a dynamic warm-up.
#EcoRideTuesday – a bike ride to Lubiechów, a green scavenger hunt, a walk with a naturalist through the palace park, the “Let’s Clean Up the Trail” environmental campaign, and exploring plants and trees.
#SafeMoveWednesday – workshops with the Police, Municipal Police, and WOPR; learning about safe summer vacations; a bike village; first aid; hands-on education.
#FunZoneThursday – bowling with seniors and veteran soccer players, MiniEuro, air hockey, e-sports competitions, pizza-making workshops, karaoke, and a movie night on lounge chairs – bringing generations together, excitement, and fun all in one.
#CreateFriday – eco-workshops titled “We’re Building Our Camp Karlino Stadium” using recycled materials, a meeting with a fitness instructor, a “Do-It-Yourself” group breakfast, and a wrap-up ceremony with the presentation of medals and certificates.
The project develops physical fitness, agility, coordination, creativity, and social awareness, while teaching cooperation, independence, and respect for the environment. Seniors, parents, and MKS Sokół veterans will actively support the children in activities, meal preparation, and games, strengthening intergenerational bonds.
These are summer camps that combine sports, education, environmental awareness, and social values, demonstrating a tangible impact on the development of children and the local community. Key themes: #Activity #Environment #Integration #Sports #Joy #ReAction—the project inspires, engages, and leaves a lasting impact on the education and healthy lifestyles of children in Karlino.
