Seven exceptional concerts are scheduled as part of the “Jazz in Western Pomerania” series. These events will combine world-class music with the chance to explore the region’s most beautiful spots. Admission to all concerts is free. “Jazz in Western Pomerania” is an initiative of Marshal Olgierd Geblewicz, and this year’s edition focuses on promoting jazz music throughout the province. The concerts will take place in unique locations—from picturesque lake districts to historic towns and seaside marinas. The concert will take place in beautiful Trzcińsko-Zdrój. Performing for you will be: the Aleksander Panek Trio, Anna Nowik & Swing Lovers, and the Matti Klein Quartet. Admission is free to all concerts. ????Aleksander Panek Trio – The band moves between styles ranging from mainstream jazz to experimental improvisation, while maintaining its own original sound. ????Anna Nowik & Swing Lovers This concert program is designed for those who are just beginning their journey into jazz music. It features the greatest hits of swing and traditional jazz by artists such as L. Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. The concert will be performed by musicians who specialize in this genre on a daily basis. The band is led by singer, trombonist, and trumpeter Anna Nowik. Anna Nowik has led the band since 2001. She is a winner of prestigious traditional and Dixieland music competitions, including the Złota Tarka in 2023. She actively performs as a soloist and with her own band in Poland, Germany, and Denmark. She also collaborates with many Danish bands and the famous Carling family. ????Matti Klein Quartet The festival stage will host a unique, international lineup, guaranteeing jazz of the highest European caliber. The star of the concert will be Matti Klein—one of Germany’s most intriguing pianists, who plays the Wurlitzer and is known for the deep, soul-funk sound of his keyboards. He will be accompanied by the outstanding Danish bassist and composer Anne Mette Iversen, who has long been a pillar of the Berlin and New York jazz scenes, as well as acclaimed Polish musicians.
