DZIWNÓW The Yachting Marina

Architecturally, this will be a very interesting marina. The marina will be constructed between the fishing port and the drawbridge, and the entrance to the marina will be directly from the sea. Yachts will not be limited as they are now by the Dziwna river drawbridge. The marina dock will be 3.5 m deep, and its jetties will be equipped water and electricity. The marina will include a building with restrooms, toilets, showers, laundry and a boatswain’s office, as well as meeting rooms and lounges. Altogether, the marina will be able to accommodate around sixty yachts of up to twelve meters in length. A further, seasonal marina has also been projected for Kościuszkowski Boulevard. This will include a waterfront wharf for yachts with the possibility to moor around forty boats, as well as a social building. Because of the openness of the terrain, the mooring will be exposed to strong wind and big waves at the point.
