Polish Sailing League

A regatta just like at the stadium in Szczecin! From September 17 to October 4, we invite you to the Sailing Center to see Poland’s best sailors in action during short, dynamic races on Poland’s most modern fleet of RS21 yachts. The Polish Sailing League is a competition series that has been organized for over 10 years, consisting of regattas in Sopot, Puck, Gdynia, and Szczecin, where sailing clubs compete for the title of Polish Club Champion, promotion to a higher league, or to avoid relegation—just like in soccer leagues. The organizer provides identical, modern RS21 yachts, and the dynamic races are held in a format that is appealing to both competitors and spectators, featuring world-class officiating and extensive media coverage right on the shore—the regattas can be watched with the naked eye, tracked via GPS on a smartphone screen, and viewed on television. The Polish Sailing League regattas feature the best Polish sailors, including representatives of many generations of Polish, European, and World Champions, Olympic medalists, and current members of the National Team and Junior Team, as well as beginners and amateur sailors. For the past three years, the regular regattas have been held at three main levels: the Ekstraklasa, 1st League, and Regional Leagues. Since 2025, the Youth Sailing League has also been held for sailors up to 25 years of age. The Polish Sailing League system comprises over 120 clubs and 500 sailors, placing it at the forefront of all 24 leagues worldwide.
