Meetings for Polish and German companies in the bioeconomy sector: Open Lab Day for Industry

We invite you to participate in the Open Lab Day for Industry event, organized as part of the MERGE / Pomerania BioBridge project. The event will take place on September 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Center for Bioimmobilization and Innovative Packaging Materials at the West Pomeranian University of Technology (ZUT) in Szczecin, located at 35 Klemensa Janickiego Street. The event is aimed at companies interested in the bioeconomy, the circular economy, and the use of biomass, byproducts, and biowaste in new industrial applications. During the event, you will be able to: - see ZUT’s research and pilot infrastructure, - talk with researchers about specific technological challenges, - explore opportunities for collaboration within the MERGE project, - discuss potential pilot projects and implementation pathways, - network with partners from Poland and Germany. This is the second event of its kind. The first edition demonstrated that direct discussions between companies and researchers, presentations of research infrastructure, and networking can serve as a good starting point for practical collaboration. Networking will also be an important part of the meeting, allowing for the exchange of experiences, discussions about companies’ needs, and the identification of common areas of cooperation.
