Berlin - Summer Contrast Festival (A Cross-Border Definition of Contrast)

The journey from Berlin to Summer Contrast is a classic example that embodies the ideas of cross-border openness and the titular internal contrast. On the one hand, we have the bustling, industrial capital of Central Europe with its high population density. On the other hand, there’s an isolated river valley where a digital detox is the order of the day. 

The route largely coincides with the Berlin-Szczecin-Kołobrzeg project currently under development. It is only at Drawsko Pomorskie that we veer off this route and take a slightly shorter path, heading toward Świdwin.
