14th Rally Along the Pomeranian Wall Fortifications Trail

The 14th Pomeranian Wall Fortifications Trail Rally is just around the corner! We invite fans of military history—and everyone else—to take on the bunker challenge! DATE: August 22, 2026 (Saturday) ROUTE: Wałcz – Gwda Wielka and Gwda Mała – the isthmus between Lakes Dołgie and Wielimie – Szczecinek – Wałcz COST: 100 PLN per person – including: coach transportation, lunch, insurance, and guided tour REGISTRATION: by calling 668 834 719 The route of the 14th Pomeranian Wall Fortifications Tour runs along the fortifications of Section “E” between Lakes Dołgie and Wielimie. This section is notable for the training nature of its structures. The fortifications in this area include numerous artillery observation posts, a combat bunker with an armored dome (unfortunately no longer preserved), and anti-tank barriers. TOUR ITINERARY: 8:00–8:30 a.m. – Meet at the Cegielnia Fortification Open-Air Museum (ul. Południowa 106, 78-600 Wałcz): participant registration, paperwork, health and safety briefing, and pre-tour briefing. 8:30–10:00 a.m. – Coach ride to Gwda Mała. 10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. – Walking tour of the fortifications 3:30–4:00 p.m. – End of the walking portion of the tour; coach ride to Szczecinek 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Lunch 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Return by coach to Wałcz Organizational notes for participants: The Rally route covers approximately 12–14 km of hiking through forested areas. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch and water, wear clothing appropriate for the weather and terrain, and bring small flashlights.
