Creative Vacationers at the WCK – DJ Workshops Thursday, August 20, 2026, 5:00 p.m. Club Room at the Wałcz Cultural Center Free admission. What is a DJ’s job like? What goes on behind the console, and how are music sets put together? You’ll find the answers to these questions during the DJ workshops organized as part of the summer series “Creative Vacationers at the WCK.” During the sessions, participants will learn the basics of DJing, discover how music is prepared, and learn to operate professional equipment. Instructors will demonstrate DJ controllers, software, headphones, and sound systems, and will explain the fundamental concepts of music mixing. The highlight of the session will be hands-on exercises, during which participants will try their hand at the DJ console, learning the secrets of creating musical transitions and building their own sets. The workshop is open to young people aged 12 and older, as well as anyone interested in the world of music and modern technology.
